Is your Garden Best in Show?

Share your garden here and be in with a chance to win gardening goodies!

With Garden ER starting tonight (Channel 5, 7:30pm) hot on the heels of the Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower shows, we’ve been inspired to think about what makes a garden the best in show? What makes a garden beautiful?  Here’s your chance to tell us.

Gardens are a place to unwind, relax and escape the hustle bustle and demands of daily life.  Some like to use their garden as a place for parties, BBQS and gatherings.  Others like to swing in a hammock with a book, or snooze under the apple tree.  Most importantly there are those who love to be the gardener creating and nurturing, and then to share the fruits of their labour with others.

However you like to use your garden, we would love for you to share it with us this summer.  Simply upload a recent photograph showcasing your garden with a description of what makes it the best in show to you, and what makes you proud to share it.  We want to create a gallery for garden lovers everywhere to enjoy, and we’ll even award one Best in Show each week for the next eight weeks with a special prize from Garden ER.

Whether your garden is as spectacular as The Daily Telegraph Garden, winner of the gold medal at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, or more unusual in the vein of The Naked Garden , winner of silver at Hampton Court, we invite you to share it with us.  Here is a lovely example of a green space with a personal touch.

We are on a quest to find gardens of all shapes, sizes and colours.  Experts this is your chance to shine and show us how it is done! We’d love to know more about the hard work that goes into good gardening as well as seeing the results.

It is not just the perfectly manicured lawn that we’re interested in seeing- if you want to share your garden because it has a wild beauty to it, like this one featured on the Gardening gone wild blog, we’d like to see it.

Unusual, traditional, well-kept or wild share your garden now and tell us why it is Best in Show to you.

On Twitter? You can share your garden pictures there too using the hashtag #shareyourgarden.
