Tessa says her goodbyes after 24 years with us
The last working day of 2008, was exactly that for Tessa Needham after 24 years with Anglian.
Tessa joined the company as PA to sales and marketing director John Hart in 1985. A job she retained until his retirement in 1995 by which time the pair had moved to Anglian’s Commercial Division, now ABP.
Always the top man’s right hand she was PA to Brian Gadsdon before Steve Pollard took over the reigns in 2004.
Tessa has seen many changes in the company, she joined when the founder George Williams sold Anglian to BET. Back in those days her work involved an electric typewriter before coming to grips with IT.
”I am still in contact with John Hart,” said Tessa. “and I want to thank Steve and everyone for the lovely send off I had and the gifts which included my 20th anniversary award picture with a superimposed head of Cliff Richard carrying out the presentation.”
Tessa now devotes more time to her love of wildlife with projects for the RSPB, Butterfly Conservation, and Wild About Norfolk, not to mention playing tennis.
