Summer Fayre coming to Norwich
Saturday 7 August 2010, 12-6pm, the year’s biggest family festival takes place in Norwich, Norfolk in aid of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, Broadland High School and John Grooms Court.

The Summer Fayre is the perfect event to raise money and awareness for these charities whilst giving families and people of all ages the opportunity to have some fun and a day to remember!
Some games from Its a Knock Out will take centre stage. This is truly a British Game Show classic! The video below gives you a flavour of what you can expect;
Jess Down, Area Fundraiser for East Anglian Air Ambulance said:
“The East Anglian Air Ambulance has two aircraft, Anglia One and Anglia Two, to provide a 365 day a year emergency service across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. We are a lifesaving charity which receives no government funding and so are entirely dependent on fundraising and donations to raise over £3.5 million per year.
On average we fly four to five missions per day and road accidents account for over 50% of the incidents we are called to. Because our crews can get to patients fast and provide advanced medical attention, we can be the difference between complete recovery and long term injury, life and death. Our doctors and paramedics have all undergone advanced emergency medical training. It’s your support that enables us to save lives”. (Registered Charity No. 1083876).
Other charities include Broadland High School and John Grooms Court who are currently trying to raise some much needed funding for their appeal: John Grooms Court Appeal
It looks like lots of fun for the family and an event not to be missed. Keep an eye out on the Blog and Facebook Group for more updates! Here is a full list of the Games and Events at the Summer Fayre.
