Anglian Knights FC
A group of Anglian Home Improvements staff have set up their own football team for employees in the local 11-a-side league.
The Anglian Knights FC will be competing in the Norwich and District Business Houses League, competing against the likes of Old Catton, Horsford and Circle Anglia.
Over the last few months fellow Anglian employee Kirk Lanckmans (Club Treasurer) and I (Club Secretary), have been recruiting employees who are interested in playing competitively in one of the best leagues in Norfolk. The team has now been accepted into the league, and so intensive training starts soon for our debut season.
We’d love to see some of our readers on the sidelines, so if you’d like to support the team this coming season, our home matches will be held at the Anglian social club. Our home ground has brilliantly maintained pitches, great facilities and a bar, so no excuses; we’ll be publishing the full fixture list when it’s confirmed by the league, so if you can get down to the ground it would be great to see you.
