Anglian Home Improvements rolls out the red carpet for The NOSCAS

This year Anglian Home Improvements is supporting the Norfolk Safer Community Awards 2009 otherwise known as ‘The NOSCAs’. As sponsors we are delighted to be presenting one of the award categories – Safer Neighbourhood Team of the Year.

The NOSCAs recognises the exceptional contribution made by police officers, police staff and members of the public within the community. This all contributes to making Norfolk a safer place to live, work and visit. The awards are split into eleven different categories, these are:

  1. Safer Neighbourhood Team of the Year
  2. Student Officer of the Year
  3. Outstanding Team of the Year
  4. Volunteer of the Year
    • open to members of the community
  5. Community Citizen of the Year
    • open to members of the community
  6. Young Citizen of the Year
    • open to young people aged 11 to 20)
  7. Continuous Improvement Award
  8. Embracing Diversity in Action Team Award
  9. Investigator of the Year
  10. Community Police Officer of the Year
    • Regular PC
    • Police Community Support Officer (PCSO)
    • These awards are being nominated by the readers of the EDP 
  11. Problem Solver of the Year

The nomination period has now ended and a judging panel are meeting imminently to shortlist winners of the eleven categories. The awards themselves will be presented at an awards night on 11 June at Dunston Hall.
